This model has a clean geometry. All the items in the Maya scenes are named properly.

Faces count (ALL QUADS):

Pinocchio Body = 6858 faces
Pinocchio Left + Right Corneas = 416 faces
Pinocchio Left + Right Eyes = 448 faces
total = 7722 faces

plus 2 spheres for the lighiting setup = 760 faces

To render the Maya file in mental ray you will need to press the '3' button on the keyboard for the Smooth Mesh Preview.

The Maya file includes a lighting setup that uses 2 Spheres one for reflaction and the other for Final Gather , plus 2 directional lights. Correct color management is set in all the files in Maya.

The preview images in the above presentations are all rendered with no post work. The Images with the Character in an outdoor environment were rendered inside Maya using an IBL setup, which is not included in the download.

The Model is rigged. The main body rig has been made using the Advanced Skeleton Auto rig System with very few adjustment (added extra controls for the hair). The rig is also implemented with corrective blandshapes to performe the best deformation in the shoulder area.

The facial rig has been done using joints deformation , which are controlled using simple attributes in the Channel Box. It has also eyelids and mouth direct FK controls , which are very intuitive to use.

The facial animation of the Character shown in the preview is for presentation purpose only. The facial animation file is not included in the download.

In the file 'pinocchio_model_set_rigged_walkanimation' a cycle walk animation of the Model is included from frame 1 to frame 24.
