Quality Assurance Analyst

TurboSquid is the world’s leading seller of 3D Models and is expanding the company’s development team. We are looking for a QA Analyst who is versatile, experienced, and interested in working in a small company atmosphere with a collaborative style.

With over two million members, TurboSquid acts as an online broker for thousands of artists who publish their digital work (over 250,000 individual products) for sale on our site. We are located in the Central Business District of New Orleans in a vibrant walkable section of town close to restaurants, coffee shops and bars. TurboSquid is continuing to grow, and our industry is gaining unprecedented attention with the widespread popularity of 3D entertainment. Our customers include Pixar, Electronic Arts, Apple, Microsoft and thousands of others you wouldn’t realize need 3D all the time.

Position Requirements

  • Proficiency in functional, usability, and scenario testing
  • Hands-on experience with writing detailed test plans and test cases
  • Experience creating test data, test execution, and defect tracking
  • Experience with web application architecture and testing
  • Understanding of and experience with QA concepts and methodologies, with emphasis on Agile testing methods
  • Experience using automated testing tools is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong desire to invest in and contribute to higher quality products
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Flexible and positive team-player
  • Participate in functional cross-browser and cross-platform testing
  • Write, execute, and maintain manual test plans
  • Work closely with management, development, and testing teams to provide testing timelines
  • Participate in project planning to ensure clear understanding of new functionality for test documentation and execution
  • Work with developers to understand new features and bug fixes under test
  • Collaboratively create, update, and execute test plans for all new product features
  • Demonstrate attention to detail for test script authoring and execution
