Veteran Financier John Koch Joins Turbo Squid as Chief Financial Officer

(New Orleans, LA – April 19,2007) - Turbo Squid, home to the world’s largest library of royalty-free 3D assets, announced today that John Koch had joined the company as chief financial officer.

Koch brings more than twenty-five years of experience in corporate finance, including commercial banking, treasury management, and both the public and private debt capital markets, to his new position at Turbo Squid. These skills will be vital as the company expands into new businesses and markets, as with the recent beta launch of its GameFlood video game initiative (www.gameflood.com).

Mr. Koch’s previous experience includes nearly fifteen years in commercial banking in a variety of commercial lending and managerial positions. Mr. Koch’s work in corporate finance includes over ten years in senior treasury and finance positions within the family of Freeport-McMoRan companies, where he managed in excess of $5 billion in global capital markets transactions; he also handled a number of merger, acquisition and spin-off transactions associated with corporate restructurings. Most recently, he was a principal at New Orleans-based Elan Capital, and headed up that firm’s specialty finance division.

At Turbo Squid, Mr. Koch will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company; he will also serve as the primary liaison between Turbo Squid, its current investors, and all potential financial and business partners.

Mr. Koch expressed his enthusiasm for his new position with Turbo Squid: “I am very pleased to be able to bring my experience to bear, helping this dynamic young company grow and expand. Turbo Squid has served as a reminder of the strength and resiliency of New Orleans businesses in the post-Katrina era, and I look forward to helping the company expand its business, as well as the profile of Louisiana’s dynamic technology sector as a whole.

Turbo Squid co-founder and CEO Matt Wisdom was similarly excited about Mr. Koch’s new position. “As Turbo Squid’s business grows and matures, we find ourselves surrounded by opportunities,” Wisdom noted. “In evaluating these opportunities, and pursuing the most promising among them, John’s extensive experience handling major deals for large, publicly traded companies will be invaluable. We are very pleased to have him on board.”
