Scalable Maya 7.0 character puppet with FK/IK dials, facial controls, and a popup toolbox window. Ready for animating.
Description
SimpleGuy is an intuitive Maya biped character puppet, created as a teaching tool for character animation classes held at The California Institute of the Arts, Gnomon School of Visual Effects and the training department of my current place of employ. The newest version (135) includes basic facial expressions and phoneme shapes. The skeleton can be re-proportioned to fit inside (and subsequently control) your own (parented or bound) character meshes, via the included 'change proportions' interface window. Proportion changes can also be keyframed. The head, arms, wrists, and legs have FK/IK switches. Includes a popup toolbox window with selection buttons, shortcuts, sliders and various other convenient tools and menus (no shelves, icons or external mel scripts needed). Also includes several 'bonus' mel scripts (Graph Editor Filter, etc). Includes a readMe doc (instruction manual). Ready to go.
