Power Booleans 3 from nPower Software is the latest breakthrough in boolean modeling. It is an amazing technology that has now gotten even stronger. Their original versions introduced users to a reliable boolean solution that produced higher quality meshes with far fewer polygons. Now Power Booleans 3 introduces the new Power Cutter tool. This easy-to-use feature is an excellent tool for exploding, breaking apart, assembling, sectioning, slicing or fitting together objects like a 3D puzzle without actually removing any of the component pieces. Power Booleans 3's quad meshing is still a robust and reliable resource for rounding of geometry. Quad Meshing produces meshes which are optimized for 3ds Max subdivision surface tools (i.e. MeshSmooth and Editable Poly). The Level Editing technology enables the user to build up and edit a very complex object using just a single Power Boolean modifier. Note that it is also possible to license both the Power Boolean 3.0 Plug-in and the underlying C++ technology for inclusion in other platforms' Game Packs.
Key Benefits: - Enhanced boolean engine provides even faster results for complex objects
- Many functions now scriptable within MAXScript
- Power Cutter tool sets new heights for chopping your model into component pieces
- Transfer of existing texture coordinates to resulting boolean shape from operands
- Support for Union, Intersection, Difference, Cut(Difference B-A), Merge operations as well as Cookie Cutter and Imprinting modes.
- Power Booleans will operate on open and closed mesh objects
- Fast Multi-picking of operands allows for quick creation of booleans
- Resulting boolean can be decimated within the Power Boolean modifier
