A truly lowpoly Swedish infantryman clothing (mechanized infantry) from the period 1990-1999 (in 1999 the combat belt was replaced by a combat vest.). The uniform is the m/90 type and the kevlar vest is carried under the jacket.
This man/woman belongs to the 6th tank regiment and the badge on the left arm is the insignia for the 7th company, equipped with Hagglund APC 302. The regiment was set up in 1811 and was liquidated in 1994. The first operation was during the Napoleonic war, and the last feat was participation in the first Swedish mechanized UN-battalion to the Bosnian conflict.
The badge on the right arm (the rifle with a star and branches) is the PEK-emblem of third and highest class. This means that this soldier is skilled at the highest level using P) one-shot-anti-tank weapon (AT4), E) the personal rifle and K) light machine gun.
The little round gold emblem on the left zipper strap is the annual 'soldier test emblem' - a hardship venture every soldier should bring of. (The gold emblem tell us this is the 10th venture.)
The tool on the left side is not mounted during APC-service. The bag above the tool is for the gasmask.
The standard armament for this soldier is the 5,56 cal. Bofors AK5.
The name tag on the chest is clear, so feel free to fill in a name (seen partly)!
