The Avro Lancaster Mk. III 'Dambuster' was built for the famous WW2 mission, known as Operation Chastice, in which bombers flew from England across the Netherlands and into Germany to destroy dams.
Nearly 1300 people lost their lives that night when the Mohnedam and Ederdam were breached. Not every airplane made it back home safe.
This model was built according to very high detailed blueprints and historic photographs. All the textures are in a 4096x4096 (4K) resolution except for the interior, which has a 1024x1024 texture.
The 3ds Max version is fully rigged and the propellors are animated. There is a normal version and a finalRender version, which gives the highest quality materials.
