This is an organically shaded model of Eukaryote animal cell anatomy. The Cell is rigged and animated, The cell is also procedurally shaded using sub-surface scattering for a realistic effect. This is a cross section of an ideal Eukaryote animal cell based of of models you might see in a science class.

Sub-Surface Scattering MR Shaders are then used to achieve an organic look. Lastly Film grain is artificially added to make the scene look like it was taken through a low resolution microscopic camera, the film grain can easily be removed in the effects panel if desired.
