Note: A .OBJ version of this model is available (Product ID: 541414).
This is a detailed great white shark model that is textured, rigged, and animated. It can either be portrayed realistically or it can be portrayed as more cartoony, it just depends on how you pose it.
The shark's body and teeth both have texture maps which are included in the .zip files for the .blend and .fbx.
The model is fully rigged, including all of the fins. It also has a face rig that allows its eyebrows to move (to look angry or worried/concerned) and allows the corners of its mouth to also move (to smile or look anguished). Most of the bones in the body are segmented, allowing the mesh to deform into more subtle curves. This makes the shark look more natural when moving.
The .blend version is ready to render in both Blender Internal and Cycles. The included documentation for the .blend will help you with switching back and forth. The first three preview images were rendered with Cycles, the rest were rendered with Blender Internal.
2 animations/actions are included:
The .fbx is rigged and includes the two animations. The idle cycle will show up first on your timeline, then there will be a break, and then the swim cycle comes next. Materials may need to be adjusted or reapplied. The .fbx was tested with Maya 2013.
See the preview video for animation examples (it is best viewed in QuickTime).
