The model is initially grouped, but it is broken into several pieces like doors, headlights, mirrors, etc. All objects share the same TurboSmooth modifier, so, by altering the iterations on a single modifier (of any object) you can control the density of the mesh. The hole model has 90k poli without TS and 2.7 milions poli with 2 iterasions on turbosmooth.
The model was completed in 3ds max 2009, but you have the possibility to download the 3ds, fbx and obj export files for uses in other software or in older versions of 3dsmax. All the textures are included as well, in hi resolution for closeup renders. The painted/decaled red texture is included as well (2048x2048).
Tires are completely modeled (you can decrease even more the poligons on tires by using the optimise modifier), they have bump only on the side.
The scene included here is Vray 1.5 ready and it consists of the studio shot and the car from the images above, in gray carpaint .
