This product is a low polygon (1400 triangles) monster, the one you typically found in dungeons, ruins, etc. The monster is fully rigged&animated, including IK contorllers for the tentacles, and an eye-target dummy. The product comes with 3 different color versions (brownish, purple and light green), but they all use the same normal and specular map. Textures are all 1024*124 jpg-s.
The monster has the following animations: idle, move/hover, bite, slash, get hit, die.
The product is ideal for both (mmo)rpg and fps games, and even for strategy games.
The monster was created in 3ds max 9. Previous versions of 3ds max wont open the file! The 'MASTER' file contains all both the animations, and the rig-pose, so editing the monster (making the fangs broken, adding a tongue, removing the spikes, adding more animation, etc) is not only possible, but rather easy to do.
It comes only in .max, because exporting an already animated character requires at least some knowledge about where, in which engine will it be used. Exporting it to an engine will require at least basic 3ds max knowledge. However exporting shouldn't be a big deal, it uses simple 'skin' modifier with bones and dummy objects, the bones are not scaled or mirrored (despite their name), etc, nothing tricky, just standard solutions. While working on it, I exported it as an .x file for a friend's engine (with k.w x -port), and it worked well.
