solar planets 3d model - Solar System... by Zetawind Visual

A 3D Studio Max 2009 Solar System model with all 9 planets, the Earth's moon and the Sun. The video post rendering is already setup to produce the lens flare on the Sun and uses the nifty star field effect, etc. Also, I setup a quick PFlow particle system to generate the asteroids...you can get in and re-size them, add spin, rotation, birth number, and all the other yummy parameters.

I included an HTML page in my research to find the diameters of all heavenly bodies, so everything has been properly scaled down (almost exactly). Unfortunately, as we all probably know, it becomes difficult to truly simulate proper distance, so I left that one alone. With a few quick and easy circle rings, linking them to the planets, and key-framing, you could get a nice revolution effect around the Sun. Otherwise, Camera 1 is animated (as the sample video preview) to flyby past everything as it is now.

Includes all textures. Has a 3DS version as well if needed. 'Space...the final frontier.'
