This is a rigged model of a grasshopper. Great for close up shots.
Originally created in Maya 2014 and textures painted in Photoshop.
This model contains separate objects like in real world. Different body parts are separated objects.
Product has 38,950 polygons with TurboSmooth OFF
Model is mostly quads with very low number of triangles. No ngons.
Product is available in following file formats :
Maya 2014 and Mental Ray (all models have standard Maya shaders). Native file format ready to render.
Maya 2014 and Arnold (all models have standard Arnold shaders). Native file format ready to render.
Also OBJ and FBX file formats (not rigged) are available with embedded textures .
All seen in presentation images are included in files. Models, shaders, lights etc. All named correctly in a clean hierarchy.
Render times of preview images (1480*800) is less than two minutes on a core i7 notebook for both Mental Ray and Arnold.
Grasshopper is rigged in Maya 2014. It should work correctly on newer versions of Maya as well (tested in Maya 2015 and Maya 2016).

A free 32bit .exr HDRI for lighting
Units used: X 5, Y 2, Z 46 centimeters. You can rescale grasshopper to your liking using rig`s global control.
Scene objects are organized by groups and layers.
No third-party renderer or plug-ins needed. Except for Arnold Maya file which needs Arnold plugin for Maya.
