Description
This is a part of The Kukulcan Temple or 'The Castle', Yucatán, México from the Temple of the Warriors in the misty predawn. Chac Mol, god of rain and thunder was offered human sacrifices -from worthy captured enemy warriors- for fertility and good crops in drought times. In the foreground at left, the base of a magnificent tower, representing Kukulcan, the plumed serpent man-god known by the Toltecs as Quetzalcoatl. Fully mapped and textures are included.
