3ds max ver 9 scene of diamond ring with 3 princess cut diamonds rendered with finalrender stage-1 rel 2 and mental-ray in max 9 and max 7 scanline render. Included is the exported 3ds file, hdri file, mat file, scene file(max ver 9), scene file(mental-ray), scene file max 7, fbx export, and example swf. The fbx export by autodesk lets the scene files be exported and imported into maya 7-8.5 and max 7,8,9. This is how i got the file back into max 7 for the scanline render since max does not support backwards file compatability only forward. So you can now load the file into max 7,8, or 9. or use the fbx file for maya.
