Scharnhorst - German panzerschiff from World War II, of scharnhorst kind, named after Prussian general and army reformer Gerhard von Scharnhorst. Previously the name 'Scharnhorst' was assigned to a cruiser from World War I. World War II panzerschiff was build in Wilhelmsharen Shipyard and began its military service on January 1939. Scharnhorst sank on December 26, 1942 at the seashore of Norway. The 3D model is a replica of the first incarnation of the Scharnhorst which served in WWII.
