| The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 (NATO reporting name 'Fagot') was a jet fighter developed for the USSR by Artem Mikoyan. The MiG-15 would be one of the first successful swept wing jet fighters. It achieved fame over the skies of Korea, outclassing all UN fighters except for the F-86 Sabre. The MiG-15 would be the starting point for the advanced MiG-17, which successfully downed more advanced American fighters such as the F-105 Thunderchief over Vietnam.
