| This design is based roughly on my own desk. It has a soft procedural wood texture, and is provided with a bitmap texture to simulate the effects of radiosity. Put simply, pre-calculated shadows will collect in the corners of the model, at no cost to rendering speed. This texture can be removed in order to allow the desk to blend with the rest of your scene, should it be necessary. All edges are smoothly rounded, just like the real thing, to aid in that photoreal look. |
