| This model has been constructed using some of the most up to date plans. Much of the exact layout of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus is stil conjecture. The city includes the Temple, Herod's Palace, House of Caiaphas, aqueduct, amphitheatre, circus, Antonia Fortress etc. Model was recently used to illustrate the controversial new book on the Mithraic origins of Christianity, 'Christ and the Taurobolium: Lord Mithras in the genesis of Christianity'. The above thumbnails are rendered with Maya Mental Ray.
The maya scene file should be used where possible.
