A typical Lycian stone tomb, with inscriptions and reliefs.
Description
Two versions of the tomb are presented here: a colourful reconstrcution with an inscription, and the plain stone tomb as it currently appears (textures and images included, from my own site photographs). It is based on the tomb of the Dancers at Xanthos in present-day Turkey, and has reliefs of dancing women in the end panels of the lid. It dates from the 6th-5th century BC. The Lycian text on it cannot be deciphered.
