| This is a ready-to-render scene with canyons or (if you invert the displacement) rocks, including materials and textures and environment/lighting. The mesh resolution can be adjusted as needed. The modifier stacks are still fully accessible. Don't miss the animation sequence, which can be downloaded below! The textures (and therefore also the resulting meshes) are seamlessly tilable. You can cover the regions that are farther away from the camera just by cloning the terrain object. It'll fit perfectly.
