Raytheon Texan II: Air Education and Training Command
Description
The Raytheon Texan II, (which is based on the Pilatus PC9) is the new primary trainer for the United States armed services. It is intended to replace the T37 and T34C. The Texan II has more power and twice the range of the T37 and with its glass cockpit will dramatically upgrade the quality of flight training. Currently 746 aircraft are on order for the USAF and the US Navy.
