HISTORIC: This is a detailed and accurate model of the classic WW2 anti aircraft machine gun, also named as Flak 35. The weapon was very effective on low-flying and close range aircrafts, and was widely used as single-, twin- or quad setup. Each magazine had 20 (optional 40 rounds), and the gun was operated by one gunner and two loaders.THE MODEL: All important object axis are set and ready for rigging and animation. Magazines can be removed and controllers are adjustable. Note that the aiming device needs to be jointed with the barrels trough the conducting rod if you plan to rig and animate the model. All objects are logically named and grouped. Textures are included as JPG. This model has been updated 03.18.2007 with a lower pivot bringing the gun closer to the ground. It was common with a higher pivot when mounted on a battleship. Easy to modify if you like. Also minor adjustment to the C4D camo material. Last, some empty shells have been spread around the gun at ground level. Previews are updated too. FILE FORMATS: The model comes in Cinema 4D 9.6, FBX 6.0 or 3DS file format.
