The tavern is in contemporary style with many windows to allow a view out of the tavern to the dockside area. The model has both finished interior and exterior components, so that you may use it for interior and exterior scenes. There are three rooms; the main lower room, a small toilet room downstairs, and an upper room with a view. A spiral staircase links the upper and lower rooms. The toilet room (and its door) can be completely removed from the model if you wish to expand the room with other items.

The interior contains a well-defined and detailed mahogany bar with an ale tap, shelves behind the bar, a full-length fireplace running along one wall, one copy of a typical hardwood tavern chair and table, and one copy of an old well-used armchair near the fireplace. You can make multiple copies of this furniture to populate the lower and upper rooms. The bar and bar shelves can be moved and re-scaled as you wish.

The exterior of the tavern is dressed with carved wood tavern signs and a detailed brass and glass ship's lantern.

Glass bottles and drinking glass, and the barstool are not included in this package. They are for illustration only. A complete set of 20 different glass bottles and glasses, plus a wooden winerack for the tavern can be found in the 'Tavern Furnishings' package.
