LIGHTWEIGHT BUT LOOKS GREAT Only 758 polygons. This is a low-ploy model of a cellular telephone. This model uses no geometry to define the front...ie. the buttons, screen, etc. A photo of a cell phone was used to create a MAX material that is simply mapped to the low-poly geometry (758 polys) that defines the shape of the phone. If you look at the downloadable preview, which is an HD resolution (1280) still frame, you will see that amazing results can be achieved using this simplified approach.SURFACED AND READY TO GO This product includes all materials and bitmaps. With this product you receive a 3DS Max material library with the 'cell phone' material and the bitmap for the diffuse channel of that material. AMAZING RESULTS WITH NO EFFORT See the downloadable preview file to see the amazing results that can be achieved using this simplistic technique. The preview file is a frame from a simple composite that was literally done spending 10 minutes in Discreet Combustion. The frame shows how this technique holds up even when scrutinized at HD resolution (1280 x 720). LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION This scene comes with a basic 'lighting rig' that was setup to render the thumbnails for this product. It is a simple 'dome lid' of instanced omni lights. Create your own lighting setup or use the setup that comes with this product -- it is entirely up to you. ** ALL PREVIEWS AND THUMBS WERE RENDERED WITH MAX'S DEFAULT SCANLINE RENDERER. |
