A beautiful low poly normal mapped chain mail coif that simply has to be seen to be believed. Download the 360 degree animation below to get a better view of this mail system in action. This coif contains 928 polys with a meshsmooth applied and only 462 in its low poly state. The effect of mail is achieved through a mixture of opacity, normal, texture and specularity maps. The head in the animation is not included with this asset. The coif was applied to the head using the cloth modifier, standard to max 8.
