| Electrified railtrack piece, midpoly-count adapted for realtime graphics. Two types of sleepers, wooden and cement. European style of electrification poles. There is a 1024x1024 bumpmap on the gravel (convert it to normalmap if necessary), and combined detail&shadowmaps on the track & sleepers. This piece is prepared for bending & elevating, which means that the wirepoles and electrical wiring follow the deformation correctly. The poles are always upright and don't deform with the track, only follow it. The easiest way to start making your track is to load the railtrack1_prepared.max file, bend & elevate it, then merge the railtrack1_prepared.max file into the scene, bend & elevate and align it to the previous piece with snap-to-vertex. 3DStudio Max 7 and later allow autorenaming of merged objects, if you need the object names to be unique. A simple nonprepared file is also included. PSD files are included for the shadow & detailmaps for any modifications. |
