Scalable Maya 6.5 (or 7.0) quadruped (four legged) character rig with FK/IK dials, popup toolbox, proportion changing interface, and other bells-and-whistles.
Description
SimpleQuad is an intuitive Maya quadruped character puppet designed to allow animators to efficiently create poses and performances. While simpleQuad is simple in design and simple to use, he also contains a substantial collection of useful bells and whistles including: ~ FK/IK blending ~ A global-head-rotation option ~ Limb visibility toggles ~ An automated tail overlap function ~ A pop-up control interface ~ A pose-recorder tool ~ A Change-Proportions window that allows you to adjust the scale and position of simpleQuad’s joints to create alternately-shaped creatures or to use his (appopriately re-proportioned) skeleton as the control structure inside your own (subsequently bound or parented) quadruped geometry mesh. Includes a 'bonus' mel script (Graph Editor Filter) and an 'instruction' manual.
