The Hughes OH-6 was originally designed to meet the needs of the US Army's LOH competition, but it gave rise to a large family of commercial, corporate, and private helicopters. Light, nimble, and easily maintained, the Hughes 500D, as it became known, is designed to carry four or more passengers in a small but comfortable cabin. In 1967 Hughes and McDonnell Douglas merged, and the helicopter was then designated MD500D.This model was created in 3D Studio Max V6, and includes details such as a full interior, wire cutters, lights, aerials, opening doors and rotor mechanics. |
