| An accurately scaled and modeled low polygon Halifax class patrol frigate of the Canadian Navy. With a polygon count of just 1500 (2760 tris) this model has been professionally developed for simulation and game use. It is properly uv mapped and fully textured using one 2048 x 2048 TGA with integrated alpha channel to provide opacity. The texture could easily be re-sized to 1024 x 1024 without loss of detail, if required. Texture provided is for the ninth ship of this class, HMCS Winnipeg. This model is available here in .3ds, .fbx, .flt, .lwo (v 6.0), .max (v 2008), and .obj formats. The Halifax class frigates are multi-role patrol frigates in service with the Canadian Navy since 1992. Twelve ships have been built, each named after a major Canadian city. Their armament consists of Harpoon Anti-Ship Missiles, Evolved Sea Sparrow Anti-Air Missiles, Torpedoes, a 57mm main gun, a Phalanx Close in Weapons System and .50 Calibre machine guns. They are also equipped with a landing deck and hangar facility for one CH-124 Sea King or CH-148 Cyclone helicopter.
