The purpose of these terrain maps is that they be used for distant ground usually rendered from above as in a mid air scene or in stills taken from the sky. The great thing here is that they are just maps that can be applied to entirely flat 3d planar objects. The images and thumbnails you see above are rendered from a 3DPlane in 3DStudioMax with 4x4 segments.

This terrain is only 16 real polygons!

The package is provided as a .txt readme file, and a .Zip file with the image maps in it. Each map is a .tif file; the texture is RGB, while the two other maps are Black and White.

It renders hyper quick in animation settings by means of a powerful bumpmap all while creating extremely realistic results.   Moreover, you can use the bump map as a displacement map to achieve even greater realism!
