Also known as “Chainfruit Cholla” or “Hanging Chain Cholla” because of the hanging fruits. The name “jumping” comes from the ease with which the needles detach when brushed, like if they jump onto you. The spines on the older stems are of a darker colour than on the young stems, where they’re of a straw-like colour. Model 1 specs: 2.5 meters
