Light setup for Lightwave
Description
WARNING! THIS PRODUCT IS FOR PEOPLE WHO USE LIGHTWAVE!

When I started publishing assets for sale here and on other sites I soon realized that I need a really good light setup to represent my stuff. Some guys use good texturing work to hide flows in their objects, other tweak their lights every time to achieve best look. What I needed was a basic light setup that would show my model in its best as geometry, without hiding anything. My goal was my customers to see what they get. I was aware that most of them (if not all) will use different light in their scenes. So why then lighting my object with dramatic spots or adding mystic fogs? I really needed a light setup that would work everytime, on every object.

After a lot of time spent on reading articles, tweaking, trying tutorials, tweaking, coffee, cigarettes, beer, tweaking, renders I finally achieved to find the best solution for me. Now I have a light scene that I use when rendering my objects everytime. I simply put my objects in it and I hit render.

This scene is in this product.

It can be used for rendering architecture, furniture, food, sport, car, preview, etc etc etc renders. No more moving lights around and having a feeling 'something is not right'.

This scene comes in two versions. One for Lightwave only and one for Lightwave+FPrime. It uses radiosity, light comes from a dome. I can't say it renders in a blink of an eye, some objects take 5 minutes, other 2 hours but I think the result is worth it. This is not a setup for speed renders, this is a setup for final presentation. Hey, it's not that slow, and if you have FPrime you can even use it as preview render when adding textures (like I do).

NOTES:
1. readme.txt with method explanation, usage and few tips is included.
2. Only objects in the main preview image are included (ball, box, toroid), all other preview images are taken from my other products which ARE NOT included in the archive (but you can take a look for more camera angles and examples of this light setup).
3. If someone thinks 'hey, I can read it somewhere, I can do my own research, I can do it alone' please do. This scene is a solution and a time saver, not somekind of never-seen-elsewhere. As you can read up I pointed some directions to how this scene is done, use these tips.
4. This product may be updated. There is new version of Lightwave coming up, there may be changes. So write to me at my email which you will find in the readme.txt file and you will receive any possible future update when it is released.

For similar objects, or slightly changed, or custom modeling contact me.
