The James Dean of aircraft. It had a short life span. The Gee Bee would be flown by expert pilot, Lowell Bayles, and won every race it entered, including the Shell speed dash at 267.34 mph. When its wing ripped off, it was going over 300mph.
Description
Its 750hp engine is fully modeled and central in telling the story of the Gee Bee Z. It was wing flutter that caused the plane to crash in 1931 which could be stabilized had they known anything about it in the thirties. This model has medium amount of mapping and geometry for fairly up-close stills.
