WavGen™ Texture Loader provides 3D artists with the ability to model, load and render unlimited file sizes and textures in UV mapping or normal mapping environments. Rendertimes drop an order of magnitude with the WavGen™ Texture Loader. All textures and natural media can be directly or projected onto 3D models and scenes as one normally would using tiff's, jpeg's or bitmap's. The difference is using our proprietary wavelet technology. WavGen™ Texture Loader supports an integrated workflow with 3ds Max®, Autodesk VIZ, Maya®, SOFTIMAGE® XSI™ and LightWave 3D®. The WavGen™ Texture Loader also supports 100% 3rd party tools and plug-ins.

The application comes complete with a PhotoShop Plug-in, a wavelet Viewer, and a JP2/ECW (jpeg2000) Compression System (All free at NO cost).

The wavelet software module allows users to view, modify, compress, shade, model and animate enormous file sizes (even in the hardware texture window). Using the concept of “Wavelet Shading”, the system is designed to shade and texture files in excess of 100GB in near realtime without frame loss and no memory allocation problems. Powers-of-ten zooms and infinity zooming are well to grasp and implement, and the recreation of space - of complete space - is now at hand in the form of a wavelet shader supporting a variety of standard file formats.
