Description
The optimized ground plane plugin 'projects' a NURBS plane from the camera onto the XY (or ground) plane and displaces each CV using a 2d world space texture. This allows one to view only the detail in the camera frame at any one time. The original version of the plugin was created for an ocean simulation which required various objects and characters to be animated to match the surface position. The plugin has since been rewritten to work more predictability, and from underneath as well.
