| The Yamaha 6310Z is one of the most popular professional b-flat trumpets. It is also known as the Bobby Shew trumpet because he helped design it. The 6310Z is a fairly unique design because it has a relatively small bore size and a bare minimum of bracing (and only one waterkey). This has the effect of making it easy to play and very precise. Anyway, the .c4d file uses spline textures in the bump channel. The booleans, subdivision surfaces and sweep nurbs are intact. As it stands, it has 20,743 polygons. Convert it to mesh and you get roughly 150,000 polygons, variable depending on the subdivision count that you set. Everything has been modeled, including the screws, the waterkey spring, and even two of the most obvious welds, so you can get nice and close to this model. Enjoy! One last thing: the download does not include the HDRI reflection map that I used in the thumbnail renders. You'll have to supply your own if you want it to be nice and shiny. |
