| Here is a model of the Jagdpanzer IV, a tank destroyer built on the Panzer IV chassis. Heinz Guderian, German Army Inspector during WW2 originally disagreed with the Jagdpanzer IV concept, but became a fan of the tank after seeing how beautifully it performed in combat. Thus, the nickname, 'Guderian's Dodge' or 'Duck'. The Cinema 4D version is fully textured and ready to go. If you own the Jenna plug in, you'll be happy to find that this model includes my EZ-Track rig. Using EZ-Track, you can animate the entire track length, wheels, etc. on each side of the tank simply be rotating ONE null per side on its P axis. That's over 200 parts being animated with just one null! Quick and easy to animate with beautiful results. Cidertank's Jenna v2 plug in is REQUIRED for EZ-Track to work. There is also a basic Cinema 4D version included in case you don't own Jenna. However, the tracks are not animated in that version. The Cinema 4D versions are optimized (NURBS, etc.) so they are easy to tweak for battle damage, etc. All other versions are not animated or textured and have higher poly counts. |
