Hampton Beach is your typical soft-sand public beach, with smooth boulders covered in green algae and barnacles, and a large concrete sea wall.
Rye Beach is a more private and natural beach with grey sand increasingly mixed with pebbles further inland. Spots of seaweed dot the terrain, and a large sea wall made of boulders protects the inland areas from erosion.
All these materials are represented in this collection, and there are reference photos showing how the materials fit into the larger picture, as well as a few of the local structures around the beach area.
