SmartLayer technology breaks vector renderings down to a layered file made up of stationary and motion layers, as well as placing different aspects of the rendering onto different layers, such as colors, outlines, shadows, reflections, and transparency. Flash MX then imports this file directly into the Flash library where it is automatically placed as layers into the Flash timeline. The end result is smaller files and expanded design possibilities.
