| These were created in Carrara 1 on a Mac and exported as DXF files. If they do not work in your DXF capable application, please let me know (be sure to let me know what app and operating system you are using). I provided the seperate halves because some apps don't let you split the combined object very well. I tried to reproduce a plastic Easter egg (based on one I have here) in every detail. It has the mold divits on each end, the slight lip around the seam, the closure ridge on both parts, the flat spot inside each tip, the overall contour of the egg and even the thicknesses as they varied. On the bottom half, the closure area became very thick, but on the top half it became thinner. These are details that will only be seen (but are vital to realism) if your application can handle translucent rendering (only the higher level apps at this time). It is detailed enough for high level rendering, but it is also great for hobby fun rendering. |
