| Description of the 3D model Very high definition and highly detailed 3d model of the B 737-7ES AEW&C. Animatable parts: Ailerons, flaps, spoilers, slats, elevators, rudder, thrust reversers, landing gear, wheels and landing gear doors. The model is delivered in two different configurations: with the landing gear down and with it retracted for air scenes. Paint scheme: Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). History The B 737-7ES AEW&C is an Airborne Early Warning & Control aircraft designed in response to Australia´s demand for an aircraft (and supporting segments) for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Project Wedgetail. It has also been selected by the Turkish Air Force (under Project Peace Eagle) and South Korea, and has been proposed to Italy. This aircraft uses the Multi-role Electronically Scanned Array (MESA) radar and its role as AEW&C was possible because of advances in avionics and radar technology, enabling an AEW&C system, with similar capability to the E-3A, to be carried on a much smaller aircraft. |
