this is very realistic and anatomically correct hand model/texture/rig ready to be animated...

it has correct edge loops with animation having in mind, distorsion free uv maps, realistic texture and advanced rig in combination with over 30 morph targets within skin modifier for correct skin movement...

hand is textured with 9 2500*2500 maps... 2 x top/bottom color, bump, specular level and glossines + one blend map used to define how top and bottom textures connect to each other...

rig is made with massive usage of expression controllers wich makes it fast and stable... to demonstrate power of this rig i have included it in downloads section so you can download it and demonstrate it for free...

skin definition is also very advanced... i had here people with high demands on mind... this is in same time the biggest advantage of this asset... it uses over 30 morph targets to define how skin should slide and wrinkle.. this is connected to red bones on the rig wich are constrained to ensure correct 'triggering' of morph targets thus avoiding absolute value issues within morph angle deformer...

to better show how the skin is set i've also made small explanation file that is available in downloads section... it is in form of small tutorial... skin_explain.zip

to further demonstrate skin movement quality i've made few animated gifs... they are marked with big red letters.. can't miss it.. ;)[edit]it looks like you will have to download gifs from downloads section[edit]... also one video available in divx 5.1 format.. hnd_def_test.avi

one more thing... people who bought my previous version of human hand can upgrade their asset at a special price... just contact me with proof of purchase...

if you have any doubts, comments, critiques or anything else related to this asset you can contact me through turbosquid support

have fun... ;)

ps

if you need, i can export model with uv maps, bones and various poses to most of popular formats... .3ds .obj .lwo .dxf etc...

Excellent model, great mechanics. Skin texture looks a bit ghoulish under straight studio lighting (easily tweaked in Photoshop). Unnecessary missing maps are a total pain in the butt. I got rid of most of them but there are still PSD and TGA files referenced that are a mystery to me. Also, not particularly attractive hands for product displays (no offence), But very useful, nonetheless. Good job.
