This tree is at the northernmost point of the Island of Kaua'i accessible by car. It's on the beach in a small state park where everyone sits to watch the sunset on the Pacific. The roots have been worn away by erosion over the years and makes a good seat for watching the sunset. I thought it was too strange looking not to shoot. This shot was taken about 10 minutes to sunset in August.
