| This is a model of Marble Arch in London. It was designed by Jonh Nash in 1828 to be the main entrance to the court of Buckingham Palace. However, it was moved to its current position at the junction between Park Lane and Oxford Street, when the palace was extended in 1851. This model is from the London Landmarks Collection, a set of 33 of London’s most famous buildings and monuments, available as a set, or separately from Turbo Squid. |
