I also one day mysteriously lost that toolbar. I definitely have flash installed and working on IE, FireFox, etc. It is curious that when going to your animation page I get a blank page (no animation), clearly not a good way of confirming the existance of the flash player. Is the flash plug-in required in any of the tempest directories, or mayby a path should be adjusted? A specific flash version maybe?

Also, how important is this toolbar for the proper functioning of Tempest?

It's not like a flashplayer problem for I can play the toolbar.swf in the Gmax folder

still no solution ?
