GMAX keeps quitting

When I'm using GMAX 1.1, it often quits on me. The program just disappears like I clicked the X close button windows uses to close things. This usually occurs when I'm using the zoom tool, but recently it quit on me while making a line.
I'm using Windows ME with 128 megs of RAM if that helps any.

You should download the latest version.

GMAX is now at version 1.2

If it still doesn't fix you problem, please report back here.

With 1.2, the help/tutorial files have changed too.

I have the same problem, but with gmax 1.2: it quits every single time I use it. It exits with no warning or error message. Just as if I had clicked the Exit button.

I have a tabletop PC with

motherboard: ASUSTeK P4B-M

processor: Pentium 4, 1.6 GHz

memory: 512 K

L1 cache: 32 K

L2 cache: 256 K

OS: Windows Me

Display adapter: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 400

The official requirements don't mention anything about Windows-ME. So I am not sure if it will work with it or not.

Windows® 2000 or Windows® 98
Intel or AMD processor at 300 MHz or better
128MB RAM and 300MB swap space
Graphics card supporting 1024 x 768 x 16 bit color
OpenGL and Direct 3D/Direct X hardware acceleration
Windows-compliant mouse
CD-ROM drive (To install your favorite gmax-ready games!)
Web browser and internet connection to register the product

Check in your GMAX folder for a file named gmax.log. You might find the answer to your problem in there.

I have the same problem with my computer

Specs:

windows XP service pack 2

Nvidia Geforce 7600 gs

intel pentium D CPU 2.8 GHz

1Gb of RAM

When I start up gmax I see it open and then it just closes without warning

This is getting really annoying scince I'm working on a halo CE level so I would like an awnser quick

If I remember right, there should be a *.log somewhere inside the gmax folders. It may give you a clue as what is going on.
