Another stupid noob question.
Posted 07-Jun-2004 7:12 PM

I must be the lamest noob out there, but I need some help. I am just trying to use some blueprints to model some objects and I need the textures that hold the blueprints to be a higher quality. Any advice would be good.

the lamest noob??.If you say so:P

"I need the textures that hold the blueprints to be a higher quality"..blueprints on textures that are better looking then the blueprint? how does that works?

Anyway try this:
-go to customize menu
-open the preference setting
-choose the viewport tab
-in the display driver setting choose 'configure driver'
-in 'background texture size' and 'download texture size' set to 512 or higher(if your pc can handle it)
-and enable 'match bitmap size as closely as possible'

visit www.suurland.com for more help on modeling with blueprits with max

if you have a workstation and nvidia card, try downloading maxstreme drivers, then you can increase the map size to 4096 x 4096
