Avi export
Posted 05-Feb-2004 4:27 AM

Hi everyone! I'm new to softimage and have made a project I wish to make into an AVI. I cant find a way to export more than one frame to an avi however. I have a scene where a house has a tree fall on it then the windows break shattering I want the whole animation to come out in an AVI what do I do?

Regards,
Al

Have you looked in the Render>Render>Options menu - here you specify your rendering preferences and assign filenames, etc. Cannot see how you can only render 1 frame of an .avi, when the default is 100 frames - therefore you must have been in the render menu at some point to change it!

Go to any viewport. Clicking on the name of that view port drops down a list of possible views .
Select image clip viewer for the viewport. Select import and navagate to your image sequence.
once imported you can than use the export function listed in the same area as import. Name your
export and chose among the many formats available under the file type cell.

The same can be done in the flipbook which can be lauched under the animation menu for example.
Hoe this helps.
