halo custom edition map

Hey, when i make a map that i want to put on halo custom edition i save it in the halo custom edition maps folder and it saves it as a gmax file and then i change it using command prompt to a map file, but when i try to play halo custom edition it says that i can't play because that file is a corrupt file! My brother tried to figure it out and saw that when you goto file then save as he saw the save in type thing and saw that theres only gmax file and he said that there needs to be the halo map option. How do i make that option possible? Also i have vista if that makes a difference.

First of all, I'm going to teach you how to find stuff yourself, then I'll give you the answer to your question... ;)

Open http://google.com in your browser, then enter gmax export halo in the search box, and press your Enter key...
You will get a list of likely web addresses, along with some of the text from that website/page. By looking closely, you can then rightclick on any link and see if what you're looking for is on that page.

It took me less than 30 seconds to find this link for you!

From this site you can download the Export script you need to convert your GMax "map" to the correct format for Halo.

hey that website looks like it would work but theres a problem with the download when i try to download it all it shows is the script how do i get past this?
